"I recently finished a series of Samba classes at DanceTales taught by Sheryl and Mark. I have never attended a better series of classes. I lived in Seattle for 7 years ending in 2008. I attended many classes over there and only one compared well to Sheryl's teaching style and professionalism. That series was taught in Bellevue by Elizabeth Curtis, a 7 time professional national champ in Latin rhythm dance. The Samba series was not my first time at DanceTales. I have been telling people in Spokane for a year now that Sheryl is the best kept secret east of the Cascades and maybe in the whole Northwest. The structure and flow of her classes never leaves you in doubt. I have never seen any teacher who could get people moving so quickly and fluidly as Sheryl. I hope you appreciate and support her over there in CDA. Spokane would love to have her, too."

"After four years of just being given the basics at other studios, we decided to attend classes at DanceTales. Since then, Sheryl and Mark have taken our dancing to a much higher level. Their commitment and dedication to not only teaching the basics but also teaching students all they can learn has pulled us out of our comfort zone and challenged us to experience the true character of dance."

“The dance lessons have given us a shared activity that has enriched our marriage. The world has been passing through Sheryl’s doors and leaving a bit more graceful for the experience.”

“Sheryl’s patience and approachable attitude make her classes fun and interesting. She promotes such a positive atmosphere ... no one has had more of an impression on my dance education than her.”

“Sheryl presents instruction with a clinical but personal delivery, meeting the individual needs of her students. Having taken dance instruction from a variety of teachers, her professionalism is untouched; by combining the scientific principles of learning with the “art” of teaching."
